Welcome to the Ladies Auxiliary and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Department of Pennsylvania, District 9. The VFW is the largest combat veterans’ organization in the world. District 9 represents the 22 VFW Posts and 16 Ladies Auxiliaries located in Chester and Lancaster Counties.
WE KNOW WHAT’S IMPORTANT
Our meetings are held on the second Sunday of every other month January through December at 2:00 PM, with no meeting held during the month of July. Meetings are held at different posts, alternating between the two counties. After each meeting we enjoy a meal with camaraderie and fellowship at the hosting post home.
To preserve and support the patriotic and historical interests of our country, our communities and our veterans; to foster camaraderie and common bonds of the men and women who have served and who are currently serving in our military; to assist them and their families to enhance their quality of life; to advocate on behalf of all veterans; and to maintain allegiance to the constitution and laws of the United States of America and defend her from all enemies, whomsoever.
Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements, and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.
OUR CORE VALUES:
Always put the interests of our members first. Treat donors as partners in our cause. Promote patriotism. Honor military service. Ensure the care of veterans and their families. Serve our communities. Promote a positive image of the VFW. Respect the diversity of veteran opinions.
The members of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars set out to serve the veterans of this country and our communities in honor of the sacrifices and commitment of every man and woman who has served in uniform. We have…
